Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver – Day Shifts
Location: Preston/Leyland/Chorley
Salary: £14.57 – £18.57 per hour PAYE
Job Type: Full-time Temporary
Shift Pattern: Days Monday to Friday.
We are currently seeking 6 HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team, we have work waiting for you.
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, professional drivers who are looking for consistent work with local reputable companies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Depot to Depot deliveries and pick ups.
2. Delivering goods to businesses
3. Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods
4. Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all DVSA regulations
5. Accurate completion of paperwork and correct use of tachograph
6. Communicating effectively with Driver Hire operational Staff
7. Communicating effectively with transport planners and other team members
Requirements:
8. Valid UK issued HGV Class 2 licence
9. Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
10. Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
11. A good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
12. A flexible and professional can do attitude
