To assist in the preparation and monitoring of relevant development plans and supplementary planning guidance.
About you:
The right person will:
• Be passionate about working for a rural local planning authority.
• Have knowledge of working in planning or a related sector.
• Be a good communicator and enjoy working as part of a team and with other people and organisations.
• Have experience of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and database management.
• Have an attention for detail.
What you will do:
• Undertake evidence gathering on specific planning policy topic areas to inform planning policy.
• Engage and collaborate with partners and stake-holders on the development of planning policy.
• Monitor the delivery and impact of planning policies.
• Support community engagement events
