Maintenance Operative - Plumber (Full Time/Permanent)
Hours: 40 per week
Location: Various sites in the Greater Belfast Area
Key Purpose of Role:
An opportunity has arisen in the Facilities Division for the role of Maintenance Operative, primarily with plumbing duties. The plumber will be responsible for ongoing checks, testing, maintenance and reactive works in accommodations and facilities on site. The successful person will work as part of a wider maintenance team, to complete all works to a safe and satisfactory standard. While plumbing duties will be the main responsibility of the successful candidate, they will also be expected to assist the wider team with more general maintenance duties/tasks, as required.
The position will involve being on-call on a rota basis.
The Person/Skills required:
* Ability to carry out major and minor plumbing works, as required.
* Ability to ensure all works are performance in accordance with Health and Safety and other relevant legislation and codes of practice.
* Ability to work to deadlines.

* Good planning and organising skills.
* Excellent teamwork skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Must hold a minimum of level 3 NVQ diploma in plumbing & heating, or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of general building works
* Minimum of 5 years previous experience in plumbing/heating
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Relevant CSCS/CSR card
* Experience in facilities management/maintenance works
