The Opportunity
As a Senior Drinking Water Process Engineer, you will support the Lead Engineer in growing our water business by executing projects with internal and external clients in the UK and globally. Your role will involve process audits, investigations, feasibility studies, and the design of drinking water treatment works and systems.
You will develop client briefs into executable projects, build cost proposals, present ideas, and demonstrate technical competence. This role includes participating in client meetings, facilitating Hazop studies, and presenting project outputs.
You will also provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
While primarily focused on drinking water, opportunities to work on other water-related projects are available for broader experience.
Is this role right for you?
Based in our new Leeds office, with flexibility for Manchester, we seek a Chartered Engineer with a qualification in Engineering or equivalent, and experience in the water industry, especially drinking water.
* Knowledge of water chemistry
* Understanding of drinking water treatment processes
* Skills in process design (Mass balances, P&ID’s)
* Knowledge of water treatment hydraulics
* Numeracy, problem-solving skills, and lateral thinking
