Location: UK – Lear (travel mainly to JLR Customer Sites; occasional supplier/Lear UK site visits)
Type: New, full-time development role – planned start: November 2025
Purpose:
Support Lear Program Managers in delivering multiple Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) seating programs on time, on budget and to agreed quality, while learning the full Program Manager skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day operational support to five Program Managers across current car and future vehicle programs
• Work in Lear systems: PLM2, LearPro and the UK-based PMA program-management system
• Track program milestones, timelines and financial targets (ER&D revenue, tooling spend, cash flow) and escalate issues to secure on-time tool payments
• Support change control (CN/CR) and cost-improvement activities (VA/VE, CTO, TVM, warranty-reduction projects)
• Help prepare and deliver company and customer project presentations; support customer MBT and supplier meetings
• Assist in standardising processes (EBOMs, PMA part releases, PPAP tracking) and reporting KPIs
• Contribute to pre-builds and launch builds at manufacturing plants as required
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to track multiple projects
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Proactive team player, keen to develop into a future Program Manager
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK (primarily JLR Gaydon)
