Responsibilities
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in various equipment, including excavators and forklifts.
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs using hand tools and power tools.
* Conduct fabrication tasks as required, including welding and soldering.
* Read and interpret schematics to understand complex systems.
* Assemble components accurately to ensure proper functionality.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
* Assist in heavy lifting tasks as necessary to facilitate repairs or installations.
Qualifications
* Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques.
* Familiarity with reading schematics for electrical systems is advantageous.
* Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators and forklifts is preferred.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
