Teconnex is looking for a Product Development Engineerto help create innovative engineered solutions for automotive and aerospace applications taking ideas from early concept through design, prototyping, validation and manufacturing readiness.
This is a hands-on engineering role where your work will not just stay on screen. You will develop practical, robust product designs that can be manufactured, validated and transferred into formal customer programmes, and are commercially viable.
Experience with sheet metal, formed components, fabricated assemblies, forged parts, ducting, flanges, joints or similar engineered products would be a real advantage.
What youll do
1. Develop new product concepts aligned to customer, market and business needs
2. Lead design development from concept through prototype and validation
3. Create manufacturable product designs using DFM/DFA principles
4. Support material selection, joining methods, forming concepts and validation planning
