Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Services Team for a committed and flexible individual to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Special Educational Needs and/or Disability (SEND) service. You will join a team at an exciting time, with a new structure and digital platform recently implemented.
The role is fast-paced, requiring the ability to meet deadlines. You will work as part of a team and will be trained to cover all administrative aspects necessary to support the service's needs. This role indirectly supports young people in overcoming barriers to learning and leading fulfilling lives.
This position is 37 hours per week, with options to work from home or in an office, based on negotiation. If working remotely, attendance at in-person meetings may be required.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
* Use excellent customer care skills to support engagement, contributions, and collaboration on education, health, and care assessments, plans, and reviews.
* Provide administrative support for appeals, mediation, and tribunal processes.

Skills and Experience
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
* Experience working in a busy office environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
* Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
* Ability to interpret information and analyze data.
* Experience in streamlining processes and implementing improvements.
* Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and Data Protection.
* Financial experience is beneficial.
* NVQ Level 2 qualification or relevant office experience.
* Enthusiasm and transferable skills.
