Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, technical Process Design Manager to lead our Process team In achieving regulatory requirements within the Wastewater Industry. The role blends process science, engineering and operations to provide solutions for our customers. You will be both hands-on in the field solving site issues, and backing this up with data analysis, fault finding, regulatory reporting and process optimisation skills.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Supporting and guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver wastewater treatment solutions efficiently.
Process Design: Developing innovative and sustainable wastewater treatment processes.You will be a subject matter expert In wastewater treatment and regulation using your experience to solve problems across different sites and process streams.
Client Collaboration: Working closely with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Technical Oversight: Reviewing designs, calculations, and reports to maintain high engineering standards and Inform decision making.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring designs meet environmental and industry regulations.
Continuous Learning: Proactive in learning about new wastewater technologies and disseminating knowledge – coaching colleagues to enhance their understanding.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution. (desirable)
* Degree In Engineering- Bachelors or Masters
* Strong knowledge of conventional and innovative wastewater treatment technologies.
* Demonstrated experience in engineering technical leadership.
* Significant experience in feasibility and outline design solutions within the UK water sector.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to be based in our head office In Hollingbourne, Kent (One day WFH per week)
* Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK.
* Excellent technical report writing skills.
* Understanding of key wastewater treatment and sustainability challenges in the UK.
* Knowledge of wastewater treatment investment drivers across the UK.
