Role: Primary Care Healthcare Assistant
Location: Boston
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our established team and be part of a company that genuinely makes a difference to patient care. This role supports the delivery of NHS Primary Medical Services within the GP Practice team, working alongside our-friendly, patient-focused clinical and management teams to provide high-quality, safe, and compassionate care for all patients.
This role requires autonomy, discretion, empathy, and sensitivity, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact on patients’ lives while working in a supportive, patient-committed team.
Responsibilities
* Undertake tasks and duties delegated by clinical and management staff
* Conduct procedures such as blood pressure monitoring, new patient checks, and basic clinical observations
* Support the practice with ordering supplies and equipment
* Assist in the sterilisation and preparation of equipment
* Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
* Work collaboratively to support smooth clinical operations
Requirements
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Basic computer skills and ability to use practice software
* Demonstrates an understanding of general practice workflows
* Ability to work professionally, sensitively, and empathetically
