Celtic Horizons was the first wholly owned subsidiary of its kind formed by United Welsh who have entered into a partnership with Mears Group. Celtic Horizons care for over 6500 properties spanning over 11 local authority areas in South Wales.
About The Role
As a Multi Skilled Operative within our Caerphilly branch, you will be responsible for kitchen and bathroom fittings within occupied social housing properties. You will be part of a local team undertaking high standard Multi Trade repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards. The main duties will be, tiling, floor laying, basic plumbing and joinery.
Role Criteria
* Preferably Plumbing as a core trade with experience in Joinery, Tiling, Plastering and Decorating.
* A relevant trade qualification or extensive “on the job” experience
* Full driving licence
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work well within a team
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
