Our client is currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative to be based at the Basildon depot. This is a manual job so applicants must be physically fit for this type of work including some heavy lifting. Operating from 3 locations (Walthamstow, Colchester and Basildon) they offer an express same day service covering areas such as London, Herts, Essex, Kent and East Anglia. You will be responsible for: Picking / packing Maintain general housekeeping standards as required General warehouse duties Loading & unloading of vehicles Putting stock in locations Stock control / Store duties Some driving duties at times of need You will need to be: Previous experience in a Warehouse Operative role Experience of working in a fast paced environment Punctual Reliable Attention to detail Well organised Good work ethic A counterbalance fork truck licence would be an advantage but not essential A full driving licence to enable you to assist with driving duties at times of need.
