You will be joining a well-respected design and build contractor operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, delivering projects valued up to £ directly for high-profile water providers. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development, and as part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Project Manager to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Shrewsbury office with occasional site visits as and when required.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring non-infrastructure projects arepleted safely, on time and within budget. Your role will include:
1. Leading the planning, coordination and execution of non-infrastructure projects
2. Managing client relationships and providing technical guidance where required
3. Overseeing project finances, procurement and resource planning
4. Ensuring all workplies with relevant safety standards and industry regulations
5. Working closely with engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to achieve project milestones
6. Preparing progress reports, documentation and project schedules
7. Identifying and mitigating project risks to maintain high levels of service delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will bring:
8. Proven project management experience within the water industry
9. Excellent organisational and project delivery skills
10. Strong interpersonal and client-facing abilities
11. A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and lead from the front
12. Solid financial awareness and experience managing project budgets
13. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as and when required.
