What You Will Do
* Weld aluminium using MIG techniques in line with established procedures and engineering drawings.
* Utilise jigs and fixtures to manufacture components, ensuring compliance with high-quality standards.
* Conduct visual and non-destructive inspections to ensure fabricated components meet specifications.
* Perform regular European qualification tests to maintain welder approval certifications.
* Use hand tools and precise measuring instruments to complete tasks efficiently.
* Log hours and activities using a Materials Requirements Planning system (SAP).
What You Will Bring
* Recognised Time Served Apprenticeship in Welding or a relevant discipline.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a related field.
* Welding operator qualifications to ISO 14732 and ISO 9606 parts 1 and 2.
* Practical experience in a heavy manufacturing or fabrication environment.
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
