This role is extremely popular with people who have an interest in education, working with young people, gaining classroom experience, or have recently graduated.

The role of a Cover Supervisor is varied, challenging, but also very rewarding and fun.
The Role of a Cover Supervisor:
* A cover supervisor’s primary role is to supervise pupils in the absence of their normal teacher, they will deliver high quality, pre-planned lessons to groups of 11-18 year old students.
* As the work is pre-planned, you will be expected to deliver it to the students, manage classroom behaviour and provide feedback to relevant people within schools.
What qualifications do I need?
To be a successful Cover Supervisor we look for experience of 20 days or more working with children and/or young people within the last two years. This role is a great steppingstone to get into a career in teaching. Ideally you will hold a degree, but this isn’t a necessity.

Pay and remuneration:
* A Cover Supervisor can expect to be paid between £89- £100 per day.
* Usual working hours will be between 8:30am – 3:30pm.
