Overview
Position: Support/Care Worker – Permanent. Based at Coach House, Morecambe, Lancashire, Lifeways Group. Salary: £13.45 per hour. Shift pattern: Sessional/bank hours from 8:00am to 10:00pm, Monday‑Sunday, rotational shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep‑ins.
Responsibilities
You’ll provide person‑centred, recovery‑focused support to individuals living with a wide range of mental health conditions. You will help build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve greater independence in a modern supported living environment, with 24‑hour support available.
Qualifications & Experience
* Genuine interest in supporting people with diverse needs
* Commitment to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care
* Strong communication skills and basic IT proficiency
* Willingness to learn and grow professionally
* Experience in care or support work is an advantage but not essential – full training will be provided
* Holding or working towards an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is desirable

Coach House is a purpose‑built supported living service offering 9 spacious, light‑filled single‑bedroom apartments, each with modern kitchens, bathrooms, and CCTV for security. 24/7 support is available and bespoke recovery plans are tailored to each individual, enabling them to take control of their recovery journey. The setting is located in a vibrant residential area of Morecambe with easy access to shops, transport links, and community amenities.
