Cover Supervisor - Stonehouse (Primary Schools)
Vision for Education are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work across mainstream primary schools in the Stonehouse area, providing essential classroom cover when teachers are absent. This Cover Supervisor role is flexible and ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, wants variety, and is confident stepping into different classrooms across local schools.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set work, supervise whole classes, and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task in the absence of the class teacher. This Cover Supervisor role does not require planning or marking, but does require strong classroom presence and the ability to manage behaviour effectively.
About the Cover Supervisor role:
As a Cover Supervisor in Stonehouse primary schools, you will:
1. Supervise whole classes during teacher absence
2. Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities
3. Maintain a positive and safe learning environment
4. Manage behaviour in line with school policies
5. Support pupils with their learning where needed
6. Keep the classroom calm, structured, and productive

What we’re looking for in a Cover Supervisor:
