We are expanding internationally and have an exciting opportunity for ROV Pilot Technicians at all levels to join us on a permanent basis. Our projects extend into 2024 and beyond, with dedicated schedules.
Key duties include:
* Adhering to safe working practices and industry standards.
* Effective communication with team members, clients, and management.
* Participating in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
* Following all company policies and procedures.
* Assisting in problem-solving and project execution.
* Completing pre and post-dive checks.
* Launching and recovering ROVs as instructed.
* Fault-finding and troubleshooting independently.
* Maintaining communication during launch and recovery.
* Ensuring all documentation and scope of work are completed.
* Managing navigational aids and maintenance.
* Understanding operational manuals.
* Mentoring trainees.
* Updating system inventories.
* Piloting ROVs in various environmental conditions.
* Keeping logs and preparing technical reports.
* Learning new technical and operational skills.
* Integrating third-party tooling and sensors.
* Supervising teams if required.
Candidates should have experience with systems such as Triton XLX/XLS, Seaeye Panther/Cougar/Tiger, or Sub-Atlantic Comanche/Mohican. They must hold relevant certificates like IMCA competence, BOSIET, offshore medical, and preferably GWO. Additional qualifications like HV certification, a second passport, and seaman’s certification are advantageous.
