The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fees Administrator to join a Higher Education organisation based in Central London. This role plays a key part in supporting the finance function through the accurate administration of fees and income, ensuring financial records are maintained correctly and queries are resolved in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day administration of fees and income, ensuring records are accurate and up to date
- Manage fee and income enquiries through Salesforce, ensuring cases are logged, tracked, and resolved in line with agreed processes
- Maintain and update student and fee records using SITS, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- Respond to fee-related queries via phone and email, maintaining clear audit trails
- Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies in line with procedures
- Support the allocation of payments and investigation of unmatched transactions
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure income is correctly applied
- Assist with reporting on fees, income, and outstanding balances as required
- Monitor accounts to identify issues or risks and escalate where appropriate
- Contribute to process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal policies and data protection requirements
- Act as a key point of contact for fee-related queries, managing shared inboxes effectively
- Provide wider administrative support to the finance team, including ad hoc duties as required
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in a Fees, Income, or Finance Administration role
- Hands-on experience using Salesforce, specifically for enquiry or case management
- Experience using SITS to manage student or fee-related records
- Experience working in a busy, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records
- Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience reconciling accounts and resolving queries
- Well organised, able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Excel and finance systems
- Immediately available
Location: Central London
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Hours: 35 hours per week
Length: 4-month contract
Start Date: 6th July
Rate: £17 per hour
