We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our busy phlebotomy team at New Cross Hospital.
1x 20 hour positions – 5 weekday shifts (varying hours) working at South Staffs GP surgeries and across OPD clinics.
Qualifications
* Phlebotomy skills.
* Current UK driving licence and use of a car.
* Committed to delivering a high standard of service in line with the Trust values.
Responsibilities
* Take blood samples from patients, label tubes and store samples for Pathology.
* Work as part of a team in the Phlebotomy Department.
* Carry out phlebotomy duties in South Staffs GP surgeries, patient homes and residential/nursing homes.
* Work in phlebotomy clinics on the hospital site when the GP service is not needed.
* Respond positively to the changing demands of the service.
