About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Profit Protection Manager to take ownership of all UK-based Asset Protection activities. You’ll play a key role in improving stock integrity and supporting our onboard retail teams to deliver operational excellence.
Working closely with the Profit Protection Director, US team and stakeholders throughout the business you’ll use your strong analytical skills to turn data into insight, driving tangible improvements in stock accuracy, loss prevention, and process efficiency.
You’ll be as comfortable deep‑diving into data as you are influencing senior leaders and managing a team.
Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis, this role will require travel both in the UK and internationally.
Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare cash plan, 26 days annual leave (plus the opportunity to buy an additional 5 days).
What You Will Be Doing
Take the lead on driving our Stock Loss Improvement Plan, using data and insight to dig deep into performance and spot trends. With the use of dashboards and reporting tools you’ll turn complex data into clear actions that improve how we work.
Build trusted relationships with logistics providers, stocktake partners, and internal teams. Hold them accountable for accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across our ships and vendors, embedding consistent, best‑practice processes that keep UK and wider operations aligned and efficient.
Identify root causes and emerging issues before they become problems. Play a key role in driving and supporting new initiatives and technology solutions that strengthen stock integrity and shape the future of profit protection across Harding+.
About You
* Strong analytical capability – confident working with data to diagnose problems and present solutions.
* Proven experience in stock management, profit protection, or retail operations.
* Experience leading a team.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills – able to engage and manage up to senior leadership.
* A collaborative, hands‑on approach with real attention to detail and process discipline.
* Experience managing or leading teams, with a passion for developing others.
* ERP systems experience.
* Happy to travel within the UK & internationally on a regular basis.
* Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK.
