Management accountant

📢 Management Accountant | 12-Month FTC | £40,000 | Hayes (Hybrid)


I’m working with a really solid, well-established business in Hayes who are looking for a Management Accountant to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants a proper hands-on finance role – not just reporting numbers, but getting involved in what’s driving them day-to-day.

You’ll be working closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, supporting both UK and international stakeholders, so there’s a really nice mix of month-end responsibility and commercial exposure.


What you’ll be getting involved in:

* Month-end close and management accounts production
* P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting
* Variance analysis with meaningful commentary
* Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
* Forecasting and order intake reporting
* Sales/KPI reporting for commercial teams
* Supporting AP/AR processes when needed
* Working with auditors and supporting finance projects


What they’re looking for:

* Part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent experience)
* 2+ years’ experience in management accounts
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
* Proactive, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
* Strong communicator who can work across teams


Important requirements:

📍 Candidates must be based within a reasonable commute to Hayes

⚡ Must be immediately available or available at short notice
