The Regional Account Manager UK is accountable for the promotion and sale of the full range of Lamb Weston products under the direction of the National Account Manager. You will prepare sales goals and objectives, develop account plans and support all customer activities, including exhibitions. This position is remote working however may involve extensive travel at times.
What do you do?
* You develop new sales opportunities and address/ service the needs of established accounts. Utilize excellent product and customer knowledge to educate and train customers on storage, handling and preparing products, and on how these products can contribute to the customer's profit.
* You lead the focus on Lamb Weston / Meijer's Customer Connect strategy by placing specific focus on our Gold and Silver accounts, targeting them with specific value added sales of specialities and appetizers.
* Act as a central regionally based co-ordinator to work in a matrix format with International Key Account Managers ensuring that those key accounts are managed in a consistent manner throughout the region.
* You maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through optimal availability/access and timely communication
What do you bring
* Bachelor degree;
* 3-8 years of professional sales experience in international (food) company sales experience in food / drink FMCG, including at least 1-2 years experience in an independent Account Management role, as the role is out on its own with customers most of the time;
* Fluent in English;
* You are decisive and you are able to convince and influence others without managerial hierarchy;
* You have experience in working in a matrix organization;
* Experience in a wholesale organization is considered as an extra valuable asset.
