Position: Electrical Project EngineerLocation: Brighton (Hybrid)Salary: £50k-£60k p.aOverview: Our client delivers world-class performance-critical, environmentally friendly solutions, for machinery across the oil & gas, power generation, marine, industrial, chemical & general processing markets, to a global customer base.Primary Role/Responsibilities Provide a professional Electrical/Electronic Engineering service to support project requirementsTo achieve a satisfactory conclusion to allocated projectsProvide support as and when necessary to Sales team on new customer enquiriesAssist with generation and review of technical and commercial proposalsReview customer supplied standards & requirements.Generate project documentation (schematics, manuals, test procedures etc)Preparation/Delivery of internal & external training coursesSpecification & design of Electrical components & assembliesLiaison with customers regarding electrical/electronic & mechanical interfaces, maintaining good working relationships with customersValidation testing of cabinets/electrical assemblies (In house)To provide technical support to production department for electrical/cabinet systemsTo provide technical support to the field service group on electrical systemsSupport of procurement of Electrical components, maintaining good working relationships with suppliersManaging the draughting of electrical components & assembliesManaging revision control of electrical drawings & technical manualsTrack developments in manufacturing techniques/ maintain up to date manufacturing processesDrive Continuous improvementsOther job-related functions as may be requiredSkills & Experience Previous experience in inverter drive systemsPLC systemsPlant InstallationExperience of design for certification for EMC, Machinery’s, & low voltage DirectivesExperience of design for certification for hazardous areasQualifications: 1st/2:1 Honours Degree in electrical/electronic engineeringFor more information on this outstnding opportunity please forward your CV in the first instanceContact: nathan@oakmontconsulting.co.uk
