Overview
Two full-time, permanent Scheme Support Officer positions within our Caerphilly Substance misuse services. The scheme is based in Caerphilly town and you will be required to work waking night shifts on a rolling rota basis. Our Supported Accommodation services offer specialised housing solutions for individuals who are homeless and tackling substance or alcohol misuse issues. In your role, you will support our customers on their recovery journey, with the goal of helping them transition into their own tenancies and live independently. Everyone we support is committed to achieving abstinence or participating in a detox program.
Responsibilities
* Engaging and interacting with the people we support
* Following a support plan with the individuals that access the service
* Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health and wellbeing
* Liaising with external agencies
* Addressing any additional needs the people we support might have
* Wellbeing checks
* Ensuring the building is secure including health and safety checks and maintaining an awareness of who is in the building

* A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
* An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people\'s lives
* A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
* Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations

* £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
