Summary
The Senior User Focused Content Strategist is responsible for delivering user-focused content research, planning, and strategy workflow for our clients. This includes full responsibility for content audits, competitor analysis, user-focused research, and creating or briefing content that enhances client organic performance, ultimately increasing the lifetime value of our clients to our business.
Key areas of responsibility
1. Drive ongoing performance on SEO campaigns by ensuring relevant and effective user-focused content is created or briefed to the client.
2. Conduct content audits of client and competitor sites to inform content strategy.
3. Perform keyword and topic research to guide user-focused content development.
4. Measure and report on the success of new content strategies and workflows.
5. Review and adjust content performance tactics and practices regularly, including feedback to the Organic Search Team.
6. Meet personal delivery targets, ensuring work is completed to standard and deadlines.
7. Manage your own client portfolio, taking responsibility for content performance.
8. Utilize tools and Google Analytics data to analyze and develop strategies for clients.
9. Assist in coaching and developing the wider team under the guidance of the Head of Organic Search.
10. Collaborate with the Content Marketing team to integrate user-focused content strategies with marketing campaigns.
11. Work closely with the Organic Search team to align content strategy with client KPIs.
12. Attend client meetings and conference calls as required.
13. Support with new client pitches and review meetings.
14. Perform additional duties as needed by the business.
15. Continuously improve the UFC process, including developing new audits and strategies.
16. Train team members in UFC processes and tools.
17. Complete sales-related work, such as keyword research for potential clients.
18. Produce relevant documents like KCCs and bespoke reports as required.
Skills
* Exceptional understanding of content and its impact on organic search and digital marketing.
* Proven ability to brief or create targeted, engaging, and unique user-focused content.
* Knowledge of SEO and Content Marketing strategies.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and act accordingly.

* Excellent communication skills, both internal and external.
* Quick learner with a proactive attitude.
* Confident presentation skills for client interactions.
* Understanding of online marketing and ecommerce commercial aspects (desirable).
