NHS Lothian is excited to be recruiting a Senior Project Manager at Royal Edinburgh Hospital.
Responsible for leading strategies and programmes directed towards the effective and efficient delivery of NHS Lothian’s public sector duties and legislative compliance in relation to Sustainable Development, Energy and Carbon Management, appropriate HEAT and efficiency targets.
Operational and financial responsibility for energy systems, carbon management (the national and international trading of carbon emissions) and utilities across all NHS service sites, including responsibility for a small team of specialist staff.
To provide expertise and leadership in sustainability and energy and general engineering in NHS Lothian's wider activities – Capital Planning, Health and Social Care Partnerships, Clinical Management Teams and User Departments – to ensure legislative compliance and effective delivery of sustainability and technical issues within all operational and planning activities of NHS Lothian.
To work in the United Kingdom, there is a legal requirement for an individual to demonstrate that they have the relevant permission to work in the country. This permission is, without exception, granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
