SDS are 29 years old and we are a growing, ambitious, industry leading Engineering company. We have a new opportunity for a self-motivated, highly capable, experienced Digital Marketing Manager (Data & Analytics Focus) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be an ownership driven person with a results mindset to build a data-driven engine for the future growth and success of the company. The opportunity exists to create a newly redesigned marketing function from the ground up whilst building on already successful business. The person will have the opportunity to have a direct impact on the future direction of our marketing and sales direction and ongoing progress of the company.
You will initially own the entire marketing funnel, with a primary focus on measurable results. Your mission is to not just generate activity, but to build a predictable pipeline of qualified leads and demonstrate clear return on investment (ROI) encompassing also our extensive existing client and database.
Job Title: Digital Marketing Manager (Data & Analytics Focus)
Location: Bristol, UK Hybrid (Office based minimum 3, ideally 4 days & working from home)
Salary: Full time salary £37,000 - £44,000, based on experience with the potential of future bonus earnings.
Your core responsibilities will be:
* Manage ZOHO for Marketing & Lead Management: Use ZOHO for marketing campaigns & meticulously track the entire lead lifecycle. Define what constitutes a Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) and a Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) and monitor that journey in ZOHO.
* Content Strategy & SEO: Develop a content calendar based on keyword research, competitor analysis, and performance data. Measure impact on traffic, lead generation, and search rankings.
* Performance Marketing: Design, launch, and optimise paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Email campaigns, YouTube) with focus on CAC, conversion rates, and ROI. Develop strategies to engage existing customers to increase retention.
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Use Google Analytics, ZOHO and ad platforms to track performance, identify trends, and build reports that connect marketing spend to business goals (MQLs, SQLs, revenue). Explore using AI in marketing efforts.
* Testing & Optimisation: Conduct A/B testing on landing pages, ad copy, and email campaigns to continuously improve performance.
You are: An Analytical & Proactive Marketer
* A full-stack marketer who uses data to make decisions, comfortable with both strategy and hands-on execution, including content creation.
* 3+ years in a hands-on digital marketing role; experience with ZOHO is a major advantage.
* Strong understanding of Marketing Analytics: ability to read reports, set up goals, analyze funnels, and derive actionable insights.
* Hands-on experience managing performance-based PPC campaigns with a focus on ROI.
* Numerate with experience building reports tracking key business metrics (MQL, SQL, CPA).
* Excellent communicator who can translate complex data into clear, concise recommendations.
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI is advantageous.
