As Bro Myrddin's Data Analyst, you will step into a newly formed role and become the go-to for data here.
Working together with teams across the Association, you'll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that help shape decisions that create lasting impact for our people.
You will be a key member of the ResourcesDirectorate, supporting the ICT & Procurement Manager in delivering a high-quality data service across the Association.
This is a key role for our future. We need someone with experience, skills, creativity and the personality to drive the evolution of our data service to meet our growing reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver reporting and insights across the organisation with internal and external datasets.
· Contribute to the development of Microsoft Power BI reports and promote its use, making data and insight accessible for all colleagues allowing for more informed decisions at all levels.
· Ongoing development and administration of core performance measures supporting management assurance reporting.
· Ensure that key performance indicators are published to the data portal in line with internal timescales.
· Champion data integrity development and validation to ensure highest levels of data accuracy are maintained.
· Develop strong working relationships with all teams to ensure that changes in strategic and operational needs are understood and can be supported with high quality business intelligence and analysis.
· Take responsibility for ensuring that relevant data is collected, quality checked, cleansed, validated, analysed and presented accurately within deadlines to internal and external stakeholders.
· Completion of returns to Welsh Government and other authorities.
· Gathering key data in relation to Subject Access Requests and producing the SAR document(s) in line with best practice and Data protection regulations.
· Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
