As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles. This role requires physical stamina as heavy lifting is often necessary.
Responsibilities
* Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on a variety of vehicles including cars, vans, and lorries.
* Use hand tools and power tools to perform tyre installations and repairs effectively.
* Conduct thorough safety checks to ensure all tyres meet regulatory standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
* Assist customers with tyre selection and provide recommendations based on their needs.
* Document all work performed accurately for record-keeping purposes.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot tyre-related issues.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, jacks, and tyre changers.
* Experience with power tools is essential for efficient tyre installation and repair.
