Position: Personal Care Assistant Location: Nottingham Salary: >£23656 Role: Permanent Part Time 32.5 Hours / 37 hours Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Personal Care Assistant in the Nottingham area on a permanent part time basis. The position for the Personal Care Assistant will need the candidate to be caring, enthusiastic and committed as the role with be crucial in helping the children feel safe, happy and able to achieve their potential. Key Responsibilities for the Personal Care Assistant: Development of personal care programmes for pupils. Implementing pupils' own personal care programme during the school day, specifically in relation to practical support for personal hygiene, toileting and continence training, eating and drinking. To provide personal support with individual medical conditions that may require specialist training. Keeping records related to personal care Maintaining daily written communication between home and school. Maintaining and cleaning personal care equipment and materials, clothing etc. and maintenance of toiletry supplies. To work on conjunction with other key workers involved in supporting the pupils' educational and health care needs under the guidance of the class teacher, SENCO. To participate in staff meetings, in-service training and courses Any other duties which may reasonably be regarded as within the nature of the duties and responsibilities/grade of the post as defined, The Personal Care Assistant Will: Is aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, Is aware of and supportive of difference and ensure equal opportunities for all.
