Domestic Abuse Support Officer (South Asian Community)
As a Domestic Abuse Support Officer for the South Asian community, you will provide support and assistance to individuals experiencing domestic abuse. Your responsibilities will include delivering empathetic and effective service, conducting assessments, offering practical support, and working collaboratively with local support networks and organizations. You will help create safe and respectful environments by providing emotional support, resources, and guidance. This part‑time, on‑site position is based in Swindon.

Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to empathize and effectively interact with individuals from South Asian backgrounds.
* Must be fluent in English and Hindi/Punjabi.
* Sound analytical skills to assess situations, identify suitable support strategies, and implement solutions.
* Customer service expertise to respond to the needs of service users with compassion and professionalism.
* Understanding of domestic abuse dynamics, relevant policies, and available legal or community resources is highly desirable.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also functioning independently.
* Previous experience in a support role or social work is advantageous.
