TP Tutors is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic educators to provide 1:1 tuition in Maths, English, or Science to primary and secondary pupils in your local area. Starting after the Easter half term, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to help students build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their goals in time for the summer term.
The Role:
• Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition in Maths, English or Science, tailored to each pupil’s needs
• Support learning in the pupil’s home, a local library, or a suitable community setting
• Help students who need extra support to catch up, stay on track, or boost confidence
• Track progress, identify areas for development, and set realistic targets
• Create engaging, supportive sessions that inspire and motivate learners
• Apply positive behaviour strategies to maintain a focused learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children or young people (education experience desirable)
• Confidence teaching your subject specialism across KS1–KS4
• Strong ability to adapt teaching styles to suit individual learners
• Good communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills
• A genuine commitment to supporting student progress and wellbeing
Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one with our support)
• Right to work in the UK
• A strong commitment to safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
