Overview
We invite applications from interested candidates to join our existing team of clinical educators in the Acute Care Team. An Acute Care Clinical Educator will work across all hospital sites for a 12‑month secondment (fixed‑term options also considered), supporting education, training and development strategies and enhancing acute care through education, health IT, audit, clinical support and teamwork.
Responsibilities
* Support the Senior Clinical Educator in implementing education, training and development strategies for relevant staff groups.
* Contribute to improvement of care standards through collaboration of staff groups participating in audit and research.
* Ensure the workforce is fit for purpose in caring for the acutely unwell adult and review individual/role competencies to provide a safe, high‑quality and efficient service.
* Work across all hospital sites, collaborating with the Matron and Senior Clinical Educator to improve clinical standards.
* Use health IT and other educational tools to support staff development and quality improvement.
Qualifications
* Registered Adult or Children's Nurse.
* Experience in acute care settings.
* Ability to work with a range of disciplines at different levels.
