This school is seeking an organised and detail-orientated Exams Officer to manage the administration and coordination of examinations within the school. This role ensures that all exams run smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and administration of internal and external exams.
2. Ensurepliance with examination board regulations and school policies.
3. Manage exam entries, seating plans, and timetables for students and staff.
4. Liaise with examination boards, school leadership, and invigilators to maintain a seamless process.
5. Coordinate the secure storage and distribution of exam papers and results.
6. Support students with special access arrangements, ensuring fair and inclusive examination conditions.
7. Handle queries related to exams, results, and appeals, providing clear guidance to students and staff.
Skills and Experience required
8. Previous experience in exam administration or a similar role.
9. Strong organisational skills.
10. Ability to maintain efficient record-keeping systems.
11. Ability to produce accurate and up-to-date records and reports as required.
12. Knowledge of Microsoft Office to create and manage data.
13. A professional qualification in exam management is desirable.
