The Regional Business Development Manager role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success as we pursue an exciting growth strategy. This pivotal role within each local market involves account development and identifying new business opportunities to strengthen our market presence.
This position involves a mix of field-based work in Southwest England and South Wales, engaging with customers as needed, as well as weekly time at our Pontypridd Depot to support customer account development within the designated portfolio.
A background in the hire sector is advantageous but not essential; experience in a field sales account development role is required.
Main Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:
* Oversee, manage, and develop a defined portfolio of customer accounts
* Identify and secure new customer accounts in line with local sales revenue goals
* Manage growth and development of key accounts in line with business objectives
* Support and achieve sales growth targets for all FTH products and services
* Develop and deliver customer proposals and agreements
* Collaborate with marketing teams to maximise business opportunities
* Act as a brand ambassador through industry marketing and promotional activities
* Provide market intelligence and insights to regional and overall management
* Maximise customer engagement and trading performance via internal platforms
* Serve as a point of contact to enhance customer experience
* Generate sales performance reports as required
* Manage hire enquiries and orders as needed
