Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for a senior level Commercial Manager to join a well-established Testing, Inspection & Certification Company.
They are looking for someone to shape and deliver their commercial strategy, drive profitability, and lead projects.
This is a high-impact role for a proven commercial leader ideally within the TIC industry who thrives on change, innovation, and growth.
Responsibilities Lead the commercial strategy, spotting market opportunities and driving margin optimisation.
Overhaul and digitise the quotation process to improve speed, accuracy, and client experience.
Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure seamless integration with the CRM.
Analyse product and service profitability, recommending actions to maximise performance.
Drive go-to-market strategies, tenders, and partnerships to unlock new revenue streams.
Build and inspire a high-performing commercial team.
The Person Educated ideally to degree level in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (professional qualifications are a bonus).
Senior-level experience in commercial or business development roles, ideally within the Testing, Inspection & Certification industry.
A strong track record in digital transformation, particularly sales acquisition and SaaS.
Commercial acumen with deep expertise in pricing, margins, and profitability.
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems (Dynamics experience a plus).
