Job Overview

South Crosland C.E. (A) Junior School is situated in the village of Netherton, Huddersfield. We are an inclusive, Church of England, two-form entry Junior School that works together to achieve our best. This opportunity is for a School Business Manager starting 1st September 2026, who will lead and support all business aspects of the school including administration, finance, GDPR, HR, income generation, premises, IT and communication.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead and support all business aspects of the school including administration, finance, GDPR, HR, income generation, premises, IT and communication.
* Ensure the school runs smoothly, efficiently and effectively in the delivery of its core aims.
* Contribute effectively to the financial stability of the school by setting up and monitoring the school’s annual revenue and capital budget.
* Combine practical, organisational, financial and project management skills to support school operations.
* Develop strong relationships across the school community, including staff, parents and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

* An experienced, highly motivated individual with a proven track record in a similar role.
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong financial acumen and the ability to develop and monitor budgets.
* Organisation, project management and practical skills.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across the school community.
