About the role
We are currently seeking experienced Pathology Collectors in and around Rochester Area.
Candidate must have at least 1 year experience in Pathology.
Responsibilities
Your primary duties will be to take blood and other specimens from patients including performing ECG's and Holter and BP monitoring.
Skills and experience
* Venepuncture experience essential with vacutainer method
* Collection of blood and other samples from patients
* Experience in ECG's and Holter monitors
* Experience in Paediatric and Neonatal Collections
* Processing of Pathology Specimens
* Ability to work alone and participate in the weekend roster in any of our collection centres
* Clerical duties and process paperwork
* Own car and current drivers license is preferred
* Ability to communicate with the team, referring Doctors and patients
* Ability to provide dedication to patient care and service delivery
* Ability to demonstrate organisation and problem solving skillsAbility to prioritise and work under pressure
* Basic computer skills
* Comply with Work Health and Safety
