Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join us as a Deputy Headteacher.
The Successful Candidate Will
* Be an active participant in the school leadership team.
* Lead by example, holding and articulating clear values and moral purpose, and focusing on providing excellent education for all pupils.
* Assist the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and management of the school.
* Assist the Headteacher in the day-to-day organisation and management of the school.
* Support and/or represent the Headteacher at meetings as required.
* Deputise for the Headteacher in their absence, undertaking professional duties as required.
* Undertake duties delegated by the Headteacher.
* Be responsible for the standards and curriculum of all pupils, including monitoring progress towards achievement.
* Manage staff and resources within the school.
* Play a major role in formulating, implementing, and reviewing the School Development Plan under the Headteacher's overall direction.
* Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

* A proven track record of school improvement and leadership.
* Experience as a Senior Leader seeking their next challenge.
* Extensive understanding of the OFSTED framework and independent school standards.
* Leadership experience in safeguarding, curriculum planning, and staff management.
* Exceptional teaching practitioners capable of improving teaching and learning.
* Leadership in behaviour management and implementation of good behaviour standards.
* Thorough understanding of the SEND code of practice and supporting students with SEND.
* Knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education.

About Snow Hill School
We are a small independent school supporting students who have experienced difficulties accessing education. We are committed to engaging students with a broad curriculum, including GCSEs, BTECs, and functional skills, alongside adventurous subjects like water sports, mountain biking, archery, and horse-riding.
