Responsibilities
* Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, and cleaning.
* Prepare all service areas for the day’s business relating to that meal service.
* Set‑up, serve, clear, clean, and store any food, beverage, or equipment required for special functions.
* Prepare basic food for sale/service, following good hygiene and safety practices to the standard specified.
* Restock and replenish consumables during service periods, pre‑empting customer needs and delivering optimal customer service.
* Empty, remove, and store rubbish or recycle rubbish in the correct place.
* Be prepared to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends for functions and school events.
* Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage is controlled.
* Ensure all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous experience in a fast‑paced catering environment.
* Team‑working abilities, listening skills, initiative, and impeccable personal presentation.
* Adaptable, reliable, honest, and able to demonstrate an open, attentive approach to customer service.
* Willingness to learn new skills and take on responsibility.
* Ability to manage moderately heavy lifting, carrying, and pushing.
* Hold a Level 2 food hygiene qualification.
* Good verbal English skills.
* Good written and reading English skills.
* Similar experience in a customer or food‑preparation environment is preferred.
