Fresh People are recruiting for a Technical Compliance Manager on behalf of a leading fresh produce business based in Maidstone. This is an exciting opportunity for a compliance-focused technical professional to play a key role in ensuring food safety, quality, and regulatory standards across a fast-paced and dynamic fresh produce operation. The Technical Compliance Manager will take ownership of compliance systems, audits, and technical processes while supporting the ongoing development of food safety culture within the business. The Role Lead on all aspects of compliance, technical documentation, and food safety systems. Manage internal and external audits, ensuring continuous audit readiness. Oversee and maintain HACCP, VACCP & TACCP plans. Monitor supplier approval, product specifications, and due diligence systems. Investigate complaints, non-conformances, and incidents, driving effective CAPA. Support cross-functional teams with compliance training and awareness. Work closely with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure legal and customer requirements are consistently met. About You Previous experience in a technical compliance role within fresh produce. Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, VACCP & TACCP. Skilled in managing audits, compliance systems, and technical documentation. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to influence and embed food safety culture. Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
