QHSE Manager Stafford, Staffordshire £60,000 per annum Car Allowance Permanent position An established and successful construction services business based in Staffordshire are currently looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to join their team. Reporting in to the MD, you will be responsible for leading the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental departments and related aspects of the business. You will be integral in furthering the Companys standards of excellence and compliance to regulations across all operations. Duties & Responsibilities will include: Providing expert advice on all QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) matters Leading the development and implementation of the QSHE strategy, aligning it with the companys objectives and industry best practices Managing a team to ensure comprehensive site audits and assessments are carried out to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards Ensuring that the team provides a robust service in ensuring compliance across the business Managing and enhancing QSHE policies and procedures, ensuring all activities comply with UK legislation and international standards Overseeing training and development programs to cultivate a robust QSHE culture among all employees Analysing incident data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing preventative measures and corrective actions Preparing and presenting QSHE performance reports to senior management and stakeholders Overseeing and managing all aspects of regulatory compliance Conducting regular compliance audits and coordinating with project teams to ensure all standards are consistently met Developing and updating company policies and procedures in line with current and future regulatory requirements Providing training and support to project teams on compliance matters Acting as the main point of contact for external regulatory bodies and certification agencies Any other duties as required including travelling away on occasion as per company needs Skills, Experience and Qualifications requested include: Proven QSHE experience in the construction industry Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong analytical and decision-making skills Occupational Health and Safety certificate (Minimum Level 6) Other professional certifications, such as NEBOSH Diploma would be desirable but the willingness to obtain is essential IEMA membership with IEMA would be desirable but the willingness to obtain is essential Black CSCS card Previous experience with working in a CDM environment Demonstrated expertise in UK construction-related health, safety, and environmental regulations Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities Previous experience in compliance management within the construction or energy sector Be able to manage and maintain ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, SSIP, Advanced CHAS Full UK Driving Licence Benefits include: Competitive salary Car allowance of £6,000 per annum Company Pension Scheme 21 days holiday (Plus Bank Holidays)
