Job Title: EU Consumer Data Manager

Key Responsibilities
1. Reporting Ownership & Continuous Improvement
*
Own and lead continuous improvement of EU consumer data reporting.
*
Manage the Mars Data Lake, supporting multiple workstreams across up to 17 EU markets.
*
Act as owner of the external reporting suite SPRINT (managed by Red Slim), including communications and identification of enhancement opportunities.
*
Lead further market integration, including changes to reporting cadence, and the look & feel of reporting views.
*
Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting data and reporting issues.
*
Deliver training and upskilling across EU markets on effective use of the SPRINT tool.
2. Data & Contract Management
*
Own and manage all contracts within the European Consumer Data setup.
*
Develop a clear understanding of the current data provider landscape, including coverage and data frequency.
*
Define and track contract costs, notice periods, and interdependencies by market and supplier.
*
Identify cost efficiency opportunities (e.g. supplier consolidation, scope refinement, leveraging scale).
*
Act as SPOC for all external data suppliers.
3. Data Strategy Development
*
Map current data contracts across EU markets (e.g. Nielsen, ePOS, Panel, Digital).
*
Create a comprehensive view of data suppliers to ensure optimal future coverage, partnering with CMI and Category teams.
*
Build a roadmap for integration into SPRINT and regional reporting.
*
Outline cost implications across resources and technology.
*
Drive harmonisation and cost efficiencies across the region.
*
Collate and present recommendations for the EU data strategy in collaboration with the Senior EU CMI Lead.
*
Partner with the Global Data & Reporting Lead to drive efficiencies and enable teams to focus on insights, “so what” and “now what”.
Candidate Profile
*
Strong experience in consumer data, analytics, or insights management within a multi-market or regional environment.
*
Proven ability to manage complex data ecosystems and external reporting tools.
*
Experience managing supplier contracts and identifying cost optimisation opportunities.
*
Confident stakeholder manager, able to work across local, regional, and global teams.
*
Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning end-to-end processes.
*
Strong communicator with the ability to train and upskill diverse user groups.
