How you’ll support pupils as a Learning Support Teacher
You’ll work closely with children and young people who need personalised approaches to learning. Whether you’re helping with routines, breaking down tasks, or offering one-to-one support, you’ll be a key part of helping pupils feel safe, capable and ready to engage.

What your role will include as a Learning Support Teacher
1. Tailoring support to pupils with a range of SEND needs
2. Supporting learning both individually and in small groups
3. Helping pupils build confidence, communication and independence
4. Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and therapists
5. Using a calm, consistent approach to behaviour and emotional regulation
What you’ll bring as a Learning Support Teacher
6. Experience supporting pupils with SEND or vulnerable young people
7. A caring, patient approach to learning and behaviour
8. Confidence with personal care or sensory needs when required
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills
10. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
