A secondary school in Bury invites applications for the position of Computer Science Teacher to join its teaching staff on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This appointment represents an opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking department committed to delivering a high standard of education and fostering student achievement. All candidates will be paid the their scale - MPS/UPS.
Main Duties
* Deliver Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Prepare and implement structured and effective lesson plans
* Assess student performance and support ongoing progress
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
* Engage fully in the wider responsibilities of school life
Applications will be considered from candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
* Possess a relevant academic qualification in Computer Science or a related field
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom practice
* Show commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
* Exhibit a professional and collaborative approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
