We're recruiting for a confident and capable HR Assistant to join our client on a 6-month fixed-term contract to provide essential support during a busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can quickly embed themselves into a team, take ownership of day-to-day HR administration, and make an immediate impact.
You'll be joining a friendly and supportive HR team where no two days are the same. From handling employee queries to supporting onboarding and contractual changes, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional and efficient People service.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing a busy HR inbox and acting as the first point of contact for employee queries (holidays, pay, contracts, changes to hours, etc.)
Preparing, issuing, and updating contractual documentation
Supporting smooth onboarding and offboarding processes
Accurately processing updates within the HR system
Providing reliable day-to-day operational HR administration
Supporting the wider People team to ensure processes run efficiently
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a similar HR Administrator or HR Assistant role
Confidence managing high volumes of queries with professionalism and accuracy
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Comfortable working with HR systems and handling sensitive employee data
A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to use your initiative
Availability to start at short notice
