£30,503.19 per annum plus £1,680 car allowance

About The Role
To deliver a high quality housing service to a portfolio of properties across Birmingham, Walsall and Coventry that includes a number of co‑operatives in accordance with individual Housing Management Contracts.
Ensuring that there is coordinated service provision across all identified housing management tasks associated with voids and lettings, income management, breaches of tenancy, resident engagement and to deliver excellent customer service to residents.
Providing accurate information and data that supports report preparation for Co‑Operative Committees and other external and internal key stakeholders in the timescales required and ensuring representation at formal meetings when required which will include up to six evening meetings per month.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Planning and proactively identifying the steps required to ensure that the operational objectives of the service are met
* Support maximisation of Income Collection and minimise void periods.
* Meet agreed deadlines for Key Performance Indicators and contribute to the production and analysis of monthly reports.
* Ensure that communication pathways between co‑operatives and Trident are effective, efficient and professional.
* Produce high quality documentation when requested e.g. team meeting minutes, performance returns and audits
* Deliver outstanding housing officer services, high customer satisfaction and consistent high performance.
* Identify and report on resident and community engagement and service improvements/ outcomes
* Work in accordance with Management agreements and policies and procedures.
* Maintain all aspects of confidentiality and work in accordance with GDPR legislation.
Who we’re looking for
* Experience of working within the housing sector with a working knowledge of housing and income collection.
* A working knowledge of legislation and the regulatory requirements relevant to the department.
* Experience of keeping accurate and compliant records
* Experience of effective relationship building with internal and external partners
* Experience of working with client groups with differing needs and expectations
* 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including maths or English
* A professional housing qualification or an agreement to achieve a housing qualification.
* Ability to make operational decisions based on knowledge and evidence.
* A developing knowledge of co‑operatives.
* Understanding of health and safety responsibilities, including lone working.
* Demonstrable knowledge of working with Microsoft applications
* High level of numeracy and literacy
* Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
