We are seeking a dynamic QHSE Manager to champion Safety and excellence across the wider Sauter UK business based in or around the Surrey area. In this role you would report to the UK CFO and include travel to our various offices and attend site visits. The Role As the QHSE Manager, you’ll oversee the monitoring and execution of all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental processes to ensure continued compliance. Your role will demand expertise in advising on Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, contributing to our commitment to excellence and regulatory adherence. Monitor critical QHSE processes and take actions to ensure continued compliance. Offer expert advice in relation to Health, Safety and Environmental legislation across all levels within the organisation. Conduct thorough Site Inspections and Audits to programmes and targets. Resolve QHSE issues through effective, corrective, and preventative measures. Lead Incident and Accident Investigations as required, promoting a culture of safety and learning. Facilitate training sessions as required. Deliver comprehensive Report Writing and Reporting to all levels of the organisation. Collaborate with project Engineers and managers to Develop and Review Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) Work with department Managers to develop and review quality procedures and forms. Attending meetings with internal and external clients as required. Provide support for tender and PQQ submissions as required. Lead the development of the companies ESG reporting, aligning with sustainability goals and industry standards. What you will need to succeed Previous experience in a similar role ideally within the construction industry. NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate or equivalent or actively pursuing certification. Membership at TechIOSH level or working towards. Demonstrated proficiency in operating, implementing, and overseeing Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems within construction and building services settings. Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and clients. Strong organisation skills and can efficiently manage workload and responsibilities. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. It would be great if you have… NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent. Proficient Auditing Skills.
