About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive and dynamic school environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development, and who can confidently lead lessons in the absence of a teacher.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
* Support class teachers in planning and assessment
* Work with small groups and whole classes to enhance learning outcomes
* Provide targeted interventions for pupils with additional needs
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Assist with behaviour management in line with school policies
Requirements
* HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
* Proven experience working in a school setting
* Strong classroom management skills
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for education and pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
